Are You Using A RSS Submitter

(0 votes)

Submitting your site and content to RSS feeds is one of the easiest ways of gaining links back to your site.  There are literally hundreds of RSS aggregators out there that collect content and provide links.  Many people tend to avoid using RSS because they either don't understand it or because they don't know how to submit their feeds to the aggregators. Well you can find out as much information on RSS as you would like simply by doing a Google search. In this blog post however I am going to focus on the easiest ways to submit your feeds.

Namecheap Domain Name Coupon

(0 votes)

Namecheap has always been my preference as a registrar for international domains.  Their service is great and their prices are very competitive.

They have just released a special offer where you can obtain discounts on domain names by using a coupon code.  This only applies for August, but I hope to keep my readers updated on new coupon codes when they become available.

Yes, getting to page one on Google has never been easier. And it's simply by doing the very thing that Google loves most. Adding content to your site!

A couple of weeks ago Google added a new feature to their search. When you do a search, you will see a hyperlink to "Show Options". This provides you with the ability to get recent results on your search term. (Click on the Read More link to view rest of the article)

Mining The Gold In Your Offline Business

(0 votes)

We are excited to announce the dates for our forthcoming seminars for offline businesses.

Most offline businesses are literally sitting on a gold mine that they aren't using to their best advantage. They have all the product knowledge, but haven't made the transition to online marketing.

Although many have web sites, they aren't generating anywhere near the amount of enquiry they should. Most of the time this is because of poor web site content or copy and a lack of attention to search engine marketing and other traffic generation techniques.

Our seminars, conducted over two full days, are designed to give offline businesses the knowledge they need about how today's internet works. The seminars are not intended to turn business people into experts in the field of online marketing, but to give them a good solid overview of the online world so they can assess the quality of their web sites and the people they engage to do their online business promotion for them.

You can see full details and book on our page all about our Australian Internet Marketing Seminars.

Write Articles About Your Business

(0 votes)

Writing articles about your business is something that should come rather naturally to you. You would have a great deal of knowledge about your business and this can supply an almost bottomless pit of topics that you can cover. These articles can do wondrous things for your business, its reputation and of course your sales. Let us examine some of these factors.

Writing articles can build the relationship between you and your potential customers. Relationships are very important in business because people will buy from someone with whom they have a relationship before they will buy from someone else. Of course, another word for relationship can be trust. Over a course of several articles, you build trust with people which in turn builds relationships. People will feel that they know you and will certainly see how you think and how helpful you are to them through your articles. (Click the Read More link below to continue)

Domain Name Renewal Scams

(0 votes)

Once again this issue has arisen with a client mentioning to me the other day that they had received a renewal notice for their domain name. And again it turned out to be fortunate for the client that they did mention it.  This same thing seems to happen every now and again and is effectively a scam, in my opinion, perpertrated on unsuspecting businesses.

Many businesses pay accounts which they believe are legitimate and the form in which these letters arrive appears, on face value, to be quite genuine. Generally they present as an invoice for renewal of a domain name. The client, who is aware that they have a web domain, can easily believe that it is due to expire in the near future and pays the account.  What follows is a transfer of their domain away from their original registrar based on their signature on the notice.
